25th Anniversary

You’re Invited to Our Celebration

For the past 25 years, the APALRC has steadfastly advocated for the civil and legal rights of the metropolitan area’s low-income, limited English-proficient AAPI population. The APALRC is proudly one of only a few civil legal services programs in the U.S. whose primary mission is to serve the legal needs of the low-income, LEP AAPI community; and it is the only civil legal service provider in metropolitan-D.C. that focuses on the civil legal needs of the AAPI community. Join the APALRC in community celebration this fall on Thursday, October 24, 2024, from 6-9 pm at Hook Hall in Washington, DC.

Voices of Justice: Past, Present, and Future

This year marks a landmark milestone of our community advocacy – 25 years of advancing the civil and legal rights of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders. To celebrate 25 years of the APALRC, join us in honoring the transformative stories and voices of our community: clients, board members, staff, and volunteers over the past 25 years. The night will be focused on the power of community and collaboration to advance legal justice for some of the most underserved. We will reflect on the accomplishments of the APALRC in the present and the significance of sustaining the future of the APALRC to continue providing critical resources and services in the DMV.
